Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not for a job or a hobby and as a way to develop. As a result, she started writing her own music. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork for being among her inspirations. Her mother was supportive of her performing her songs in public, not to achieve fame, but rather in order to show others how important they are and how they can make a difference to make a difference in the world. The mother of her child suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their importance and the ways they could impact the world. It was unknown by her family until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her dream. Aurora says she loves to compose music. According to her, she believes music can make anyone feel better.
