Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is widely believed that she was the one who starting the modern research into the study of eyewitness memory and child victimes as witness in court situations. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive and she has been awarded numerous grants and has been the recipient of many honors the national level and international. She has provided policy and research consultations for numerous government agencies and departments from all over the world. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She's a member of numerous professional associations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She is the former president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
